Representing members of the community to representing members of the Permanent Mission to the Republic of Cameroon, Roberto Espinosa is an eager and strong-willed criminal defense attorney and plaintiff’s lawyer dedicated to providing excellent and professional services to all his clientele. Mentored and trained under the legendary “Champ” Goldman, Mr. Espinosa is always planning and prepared to take his cases to trial when all negotiations are off. Presently, Mr. Espinosa actively practices in three counties, Union, Essex and Passaic, but also has represented clients in Bergen, Hudson, Somerset, Morris and Middlesex counties. Mr. Espinosa has obtained numerous successful settlements and brings to the firm a thorough understanding of the law regarding catastrophic auto and truck accidents, premises liability, inadequate security and public entity negligence. Mr. Espinosa is an active member of the American Association for Justice, an organization that, like him, is dedicated to protecting the legal rights of those injured by the negligence of others. An Honors, Law Review and Order of the Crown graduate from Charlotte School of Law, Mr. Espinosa brings a diverse background to the practice of law.
Prior to law school, Mr. Espinosa was an amateur boxer for the State of New Jersey; he received his undergraduate degree from Kean University and has dedicated over 450 hours of his time during law school towards serving the underserved. After graduating from law school, Roberto started his legal career with one of the most prestigious criminal defense and personal injury firms in the State of New Jersey representing criminal defendants and injured plaintiffs. The experience has given Roberto a unique and valuable perspective in his representation of clients against the State and Big Businesses. Roberto is admitted to practice in all New Jersey federal and state courts, all North Carolina State courts and is a member of the New Jersey and North Carolina State Bar Associations.
